Yoshinoya West is the Western division of a vast worldwide fast food chain, Yoshinoya Restaurants, Inc. However huge they were around the world, growth was slow in the West. (The Western division consisted merely of California.)

Since each restaurant was actually company owned, unlike most fast-food chains where each restaurant is an independent franchise, growth was much more of a challenge. But quality remained high and it showed in the chain's local popularity in California. Yoshinoya realized that they could harness the power of the World Wide Web to expedite their expansion.

Yoshinoya came to us in 1998 with their idea for a web site. They wanted a site that would promote their future plans for franchising across the United States as well as provide quick survey results for ongoing market research.

After much collaboration, it was agreed to move forward with the web site which featured a contest, discount coupons, menu description, franchise information, restaurant locator, and much more was constructed. It even provided an employee application for those interested in a career on the level of management.
