Our chance meeting at a wedding (where she was performing) led us to discuss websites. Based on what she had envisioned AND the fact that she wanted to be able to maintain it herself, we knew that Joomla!® would do the job nicely.

First we started with the Gig Calendar. Its many ultimate functions include an Upcoming Gig module, mini-calendar module, individual configurations for venues, bands, and so much more. Now anyone visiting Rachel's website will be able to find out quickly where she is performing, the address, telephone number, website, etc. at a glance.

Projects/Bands were important since Rachel is involved in so many around the greater Cincinnati area. We built in a section highlighting each project including testimonials, photos, band members, and awards. Other "about" sections give details on Rachel's private studio where she uses the Suzuki Method to teach music theory and reading, her experience as a Music Mind Games workshop instructor, resume, biography, and samples of her work.

Staying in touch with her fan base is a top priority so we installed, configured, and designed a template for her email newsletter. This component is actually a "smart" newsletter meaning that all Rachel has to do is add a new article to her website and the newsletter automatically pulls it into its template and mails it out to her list. Perfect for her busy schedule!

A photo gallery, and video/audio demo section rounded it all off making this website a complete picture of Rachel Schott - past, present, and future.
