It has been a delight to build a website promoting this beautiful horse farm in northern Kentucky. The owners, Sandi and Roger Mullins, needed something very simple to start with in order to stay within their advertising budget.

Country Weddings section

Since Joomla!'s® vast flexibility allows for anything from the very basic site to the extreme complex, and it allows for future growth without rebuilding an entirely new website, Meadowview Farm was the perfect candidate (once again) for a Joomla! website.

This horse farm is actually more than a horse farm. Therefore we arranged the content so that all aspects of the farm's offerings would be visible in the main menu. Sections on horse boarding, the bed and breakfast, and wine-making were setup as compartments of the site so that visitors could easily find what they're looking for.

As mentioned previously, this site was to remain simple per budget constraints, so content is the main feature. We did, however, add social bookmarking capabilities, a site backup component, site security, and when more photos become available, an image gallery.

We registered multiple domains containing keywords to reinforce the horse boarding, bed and breakfast, and wedding services.

Finally, we installed and configured the Joomla! system, designed a very simple look and feel, and added the content and photos -- all in just a few short weeks. Sandi and Roger couldn't be happier... They now have a professional looking website that they can grow into. Best of all, they stayed within their budget.
